Students whose registered residence is outside central Ankara and who rank within the following ranges in the relevant score type of the programme in which they are placed may benefit from free dormitory accommodation: within the top 4,000 for programmes admitting students based on language scores, and within the top 40,000 for programmes using other score types.

No. Full-scholarship students who do not use their free dormitory entitlement are not provided with any cash payment in return for this entitlement.

Students who are accommodated under the free dormitory entitlement stay in four-person rooms and benefit from breakfast and dinner services free of charge.

The deposit fee is determined each year together with the dormitory fees.

When students leave the dormitory after completing the academic term, the fixtures and furnishings assigned to them are inspected. If any damage or missing item is identified, the relevant amount is deducted from the deposit and the remaining balance is refunded to the student. If no damage or missing item is found, the full deposit is refunded.

The total dormitory fee determined according to the selected room category may be paid in four instalments using credit cards issued by contracted banks.

Smoking is permitted only in designated smoking areas. Smoking is prohibited in student rooms and all common areas.

  No shuttle service is provided for transportation to and from the dormitories.

No. Students admitted to the University with a 25%, 50% or 75% scholarship are not granted an additional discount on dormitory fees.

Students who wish to check in before the entry date stated in the dormitory calendar are charged the daily rate of the room in which they will stay for each day of early accommodation.

If you state the name of the student with whom you would like to stay during dormitory registration, your roommate request will be evaluated, subject to available capacity and the room allocation plan.

You may submit your room change request to the Dormitory Directorate. Your request will be evaluated, subject to room availability and the accommodation plan.

  The documents requested from students applying to the dormitory must be renewed every year and submitted upon check-in:
• Copy of Turkish ID card
• Student certificate
• Blood group document
• 2 photographs
• Criminal record certificate obtained through e-Government
• Residence certificate obtained through e-Government

The latest entry time for the dormitories is 1:30 a.m. on both weekdays and weekends.

The dormitory provides each student with one pillow and one duvet. Students must provide any other necessary items, including a duvet cover set, bedsheet, pillowcase, personal care products and other personal belongings.

Announcements, notices or posters may not be displayed in any area of the dormitory without the prior approval of the Dormitory Directorate.

Students who violate the rules stated in the dormitory agreement and its annexes are subject to the necessary warning and disciplinary procedures.

Yes. Students staying in the dormitory during the summer period are charged separately.

Subject to dormitory availability, a student's mother, father, sibling or friend may stay in the dormitory upon payment of the nightly room rate.

No. A luggage or belongings transport service is not provided during dormitory check-in or check-out. Each student is responsible for transporting their own belongings.

No. Visitors are not permitted to enter student rooms.

  No. At the end of the term, rooms must be completely emptied and all belongings stored in the luggage room must be collected. The Dormitory Directorate is not responsible for items that are left behind or lost.

Only personal care appliances such as hair straighteners, curling irons and hair dryers may be used in student rooms. The use of other electrical appliances, including kettles, coffee machines, cookers and sandwich makers, is prohibited. The Dormitory Directorate may inspect rooms and cupboards when deemed necessary.

No. Televisions are not available in student rooms.

No. Rooms do not need to be vacated during the semester break. However, as cleaning and pest-control work may be carried out, students should not leave belongings exposed in their rooms.

No. Keeping or housing animals in student rooms is not permitted.

When students leave the dormitory at the end of the academic calendar, the fixtures and furnishings in their rooms are inspected and a check-out form is signed. If any missing or damaged item is identified, the relevant cost is charged to the student.

A replacement key may be obtained from the Dormitory Directorate for a fee. The lost key is also processed as a missing fixture or inventory item.

No. The positions of the fixtures and furnishings in the room may not be changed, and these items may not be used in common areas.

Student rooms and common areas are cleaned regularly according to the programme announced on the notice boards. Each student is responsible for the order and cleanliness of their own bed, cupboard and personal belongings.

Security personnel are on duty 24/7, and continuous recordings are made through the camera system. Dormitory entrances are controlled using a video intercom system, and students enter the building through turnstiles using their own student cards.

Breakfast and dinner are provided in the dormitory. Meal times may be followed through the programme displayed on the notice boards.

No. Breakfast and dinner services are provided only during the announced hours.

No staff member providing healthcare or accompaniment services is available in the dormitories at night. Students must apply to an appropriate healthcare institution when necessary.

The dormitories have a paid laundry facility available for shared student use.

The dormitories have free ironing areas available for shared student use.

Yes. Students are provided with 24/7 internet access through an individual user account assigned to each student.

The dormitories use a central heating system. Air conditioning is available only in common areas.

Yes. Hot water is available in the dormitories 24/7 without interruption.

Unused belongings may be stored in the luggage room.

Yes. The dormitory has a lift.

Yes. The dormitory has a fire alarm and fire suppression system.

No. The meal service is included in the dormitory fee. No discount or adjustment is made to the dormitory fee if the student does not use this service.

No. Rooms are cleaned regularly, but students are responsible for changing their own bed linen as often as necessary.

Faults or maintenance issues in student rooms must be reported to the administrative officers on duty at reception.

Monthly meal menus are available in the “Menus” section of the website, while weekly meal menus are shared through our social media accounts.

Calorie planning is carried out by the food engineers of the contracted service provider and is stated on the menus.

No. Parcels are not accepted by dormitory staff. Students may collect their parcels from the PUDO parcel collection points located at the dormitory entrance.

Yes. Various social activities open to student participation are organised throughout the year.

There is no shared kitchen in the dormitories. However, electrical kitchen appliances are available for shared student use in the dining hall.

No. The female and male student dormitories are located off campus.
